With the INTELLECTRIC Cargobike, DYNAMIC DRIVES Giessen GmbH (DDG) is developing a new generation of professional mobility solutions for urban transport and work tasks. Founded in 2019 as a subsidiary of the long-established Johannes Hübner Fabrik elektrischer Maschinen GmbH, DDG combines industrial drive technology with modern mobility solutions.
DYNAMIC DRIVES Giessen stands for robust, low-maintenance, and economical mobility solutions for professional everyday use. With the INTELLECTRIC Cargobike, DDG is not developing classic cargo bikes, but rather a new vehicle class between the pedelec and the commercial vehicle: the heavy-duty pedelec.
What makes DDG unique is the combination of industrial drive technology and urban mobility. The low-maintenance INTELLECTRIC drive system (iSHS) is based on generator and drive technology proven over decades and has been used for decades in locomotives, hydroelectric power plants, and rolling mills in the steel industry, among other applications. This industrial expertise forms the foundation for a particularly robust and durable drive system designed specifically for high continuous loads.
DDG consistently approaches mobility from the user’s perspective: high payload, modular superstructures, intuitive operation, low operating costs, and maximum suitability for everyday use in trades, municipalities, industry, and service sectors.
